“What do you mean I have no choice?” Tara retorted almost immediately, without giving him a chance to breathe after talking.  The idea of getting married to the man who killed her childhood friend, was beginning to bring crazy thoughts to her head. “I'll never surrender, I'll never be his” Tara muttered under her breath. Tara stood across Drew, the man who murdered her close friend about to get married to him. It all still seemed like a crazy dream.  “Do you take Drew to be your lawfully wedded husband?” the priest's question jolted her back to reality. Tara thought long and hard before she answered, the eyes of everyone in attendance were on her. After a while she made up her mind.  “I…….I….. “ she stammered. “No, I don't” she said defiantly, she would never agree to marry Drew, not on her terms.  ..... Tara stood frozen. How did she end up married without her permission? She thought saying no would make a difference but obviously it didn't.
