The slam of door brought me back from where my imagination had taken me. The book I was reading had completely taken over my senses that I didn't hear or feel when he stepped into the room. Eyes locked on mine, he prowled towards me , his eyes as dark as the night sky, I dropped the book gently on the table and rose to meet him . It was weird that he came to my wing of the house , I don't recall any event scheduled for today . He stopped inches away from me that if I raised my hands slightly I would be touching him, and I so wanted to but he wasn't mine to touch. "Hi, Cade", I said breathily. He just kept staring. "Is there any event scheduled for tonight ?, Mira didn't inform me of any " , he still didn't reply , staring unflinchingly. Feeling self conscious I adjusted the robes covering the scoop neck nightie I had on , which brought his attention to my body . He clenched his jaw tighter still staring at the night gown like it had personally offended him. His eyes settled again on mine and I gasped , I could see raw hunger in those dark eyes. "Cade is there a pro—", I began to say and he stepped closer . " You're enjoying this aren't you? ",he spat angrily. "Making me want you like no other, showing me glimpses of what I want then taking it back ", his eyes getting impossibly darker , I could swear I heard him growl, I didn't know what to do " I'm sorry", I pull my eyes away from his "I won't disturb you anymore, I swe–" The apology is swallowed by his mouth on mine and his hands around my neck. I feel like I have been brought back to life.
